I have been either in front of a camera or behind the camera since my inception. Photography has been a part of my family history since the late 1800's. Luckily, the photos were passed down through the years. I am in the process of preserving them and will be posting sometime in the near future. On a personal level, my uncle (now deceased) was an avid photographer and always taking my picture. He taught me how to "see" and the importance of "light" especially while holding his manual light meter. Soon, I realized that being "behind the camera" was more comfortable for me. My formal training, photography/fine arts/science, began in high school and continued through college (Hofstra University) in Hempstead, NY and the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) in NYC.
